Going up two or more tire sizes typically requires re-gearing to restore performance. We'll check your current ratio and recommend the right gear for your tire size and driving style.
What's the difference between a locker and a limited-slip?
A limited-slip transfers some power to the wheel with traction. A locker fully locks both wheels together for maximum traction. Lockers are stronger off-road; limited-slips are easier on pavement.
How long does a gear change take?
A full re-gear of front and rear axles takes a full day. We do the work, set up the gear pattern, and put break-in oil in. You drive carefully for the first 500 miles, then return for an oil change.
